Rainy Day
There's this awkward place in between lives where you can't move forward just yet, but you can't return to where you've been. It can be a frustrating time - but as a teacher once told my class, embrace frustration! I'm trying to but it's giving me a headache. My twenties are giving me a headache. Between being a child and an adult, between jobs, between the old and new. Learning to know what you want, while everyone around you is learning as well, so what should be a simple decision as where to eat or drink becomes a life or death decision.

Sometimes the most simplistic things become a major decision, as you learned to be direct, yet your passion is a hobby that you fell in love with. A career you can move forwards or backwards, but a passion becomes so encompassing that it consumes your free time to never waste an opportunity to drink or taste your true passion. Money burns like coal in time: it pays the rent but satisfies only the bank and landlord. Why hate to go to work when your dream lives in a pot and pan? I can be a taste-tester if you like. There are no rainy days when you are happy, just need a pancho in the kitchen.
